Client Projects

Public Policy & Politics

One man’s fight resonates with Reveille, leading to national policy changes.

Bryan Hubbard, a bearded man with longer hair, appears on the Cleared Hot podcast. He is sitting in front of the Cleared Hot logo, which is a mushroom cloud explosion.

The Problem

Beginning in 2017, Kentucky lawyer W. Bryan Hubbard held key state leadership roles, overseeing initiatives at the Mine Safety Review Commission, Department for Income Support, and Office of Medicaid Fraud & Abuse. Most recently, he led the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, overseeing the allocation of $842 million in opioid settlement funds.

Praised for his integrity, Bryan brought ibogaine—an alternative opioid addiction treatment—to the forefront, with 60% public support behind him. His efforts were on the verge of success—until, just weeks before fruition, he was forced to resign at the end of 2023.

Why—and how—did this happen?

The Project

Reveille’s corporate intelligence collectors focused on four entities to explore possible conflicts of interest: Big Pharma’s opioid use disorder (OUD) sector, the University of Kentucky’s OUD researchers, and the Governor and Attorney General of Kentucky.

  • Reveille’s open-source intelligence (OSINT) analysts painstakingly collected over $40 million in political donations to Governor Beshear and Attorney General Coleman, auditing 20,000+ donors for signs of collusion or conflicts of interest.
  • Then, we analyzed public records to trace consulting payments to University of Kentucky principal investigators and assessed how financial ties could influence policy recommendations.
  • This led to researching corporate acquisitions and partnerships in the opioid use disorder (OUD) sector. Our analysts identified key players who stood to lose the most from ibogaine’s rise.
  • We also investigated OUD lobbying efforts and legal representation in Kentucky, frequently uncovering ties to firms where the Governor and Attorney General were former partners.
  • Once finalized, Reveille worked with media, podcasters, and key allies to drive national awareness and accountability.

The Results

Reveille’s in-depth investigation and one-of-a-kind report, titled The Sabotage of Bryan Hubbard’s Kentucky Ibogaine Initiative, makes national waves!

  • Investigative journalist Rachel Nuwer broke the story in Reason Magazine (October 2024), with syndication through AOL and Yahoo! News, gaining traction on social media.
  • Bryan Hubbard appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience alongside former Gov. Rick Perry, with Reveille’s research featured in the show notes and shared across Joe’s platforms.
  • Reveille secured Bryan’s appearance on The Cleared Hot Podcast, where he detailed his experience and our investigative findings.
  • Bryan and Dr. Sue Sisley spoke at SXSW 2025, highlighting Reveille’s research. They raised awareness of how Big Pharma is trying to recoup its opioid settlement fines by pivoting to monopolize the OUD treatment industry.
  • A year after being forced to resign, Bryan has reached national prominence, advocating for ibogaine daily and driving the conversation forward.

This case is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through shared vision and passion. Reveille Advisors continues to support Bryan with intelligence research, earned media, and coalition building.

Big Data & Market Research

Providing unmatched insights for one of America’s Top 10 cities.

This is a black and white photo of a person's hands holding a smartphone that is open the Maps app showing their location.

The Problem

One of the nation’s busiest cities needed to quantify pedestrian movement between its iconic destinations to assess the viability of a multi-location day pass. Accurate data would allow them to forecast revenue potential and traffic volume.

However, their internal systems lacked cross-location communication and had inconsistent data gaps, making it impossible to generate reliable insights. They needed an external, data-driven solution—which is when they turned to Reveille.

The Project

To solve the challenge, Reveille sourced and analyzed a full year of location data to measure seasonal traffic variations, then developed a custom dashboard for seamless internal access.

  • We identified and vetted multiple data vendors to secure the exact dataset needed, negotiated a bulk data purchase, and coordinated the transfer of terabytes (TB) of anonymized location data.
  • Our team, led by Reveille’s Data Scientist, processed and structured over 38 billion cells of Excel data into a unified pedestrian traffic database spanning an entire year.
  • Knowing that raw data in Excel was impractical for the client, we developed a custom data visualizer to allow interactive querying and real-time analysis.
  • This visual dashboard provided the client with clear, actionable insights into how residents and tourists engage with historical sites, enabling them to make informed decisions with confidence.

The Results

Reveille delivered a game-changing solution, exceeding client expectations and providing a powerful new decision-making tool:

  • Our custom dashboard and visualizer generated detailed reports and interactive map overlays in a handful of seconds per query, making it an efficient, practical tool for the client’s team.
  • To uphold ethical data use, we built in safeguards to prevent misuse, ensuring the tool could not track individuals, even with anonymized data. Protecting civil liberties was a priority.
  • With precise traffic forecasting based on a full year of historical data, the city can now predict daily foot traffic and more accurately project revenue for the new day pass initiative.
  • This project solved a critical data gap and provided long-term strategic value, helping the city make informed, future-proof decisions.

By transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, Reveille empowered officials with the tools they needed to optimize tourism strategies, improve planning, and drive sustainable economic growth.

Litigation & Trial intelligence

A global staffing agency fell victim to intellectual property and employee theft.

A photo of a courtroom in black and white. We see an attorney's desk with notes and a microphone in front of a jury box.

The Problem

A large staffing agency contacted Reveille with a critical issue that blended HR and legal. The company’s customers were “temp-napping” their contracted employees, violating agreements, and causing significant financial losses due to rehiring, retraining, and operational disruptions.

To make matters worse, competitors had copied the agency’s intellectual property and secured trade secrets. Unfortunately, the competitor used it to undercut pricing and steal business. With a lawsuit already filed and a trial approaching, the client needed concrete evidence to strengthen their case. That’s when they turned to Reveille for litigation support services.

The Project

To build an airtight case, Reveille needed undeniable proof that the client’s former employees were now working for the violating company. This required a combination of covert operations, social engineering tactics, and advanced intelligence gathering.

  • Reveille operatives infiltrated the competitor’s business, gathering original audio and digital evidence and capturing former employees working for the client’s former customer in real time.
  • Reveille’s OSINT analysts conducted deep competitor research throughout the investigation, uncovering organizational records from various databases that confirmed the temp-napping scheme.
  • Using social media intelligence, we secured direct evidence from former employees’ accounts, verifying their contractual breach and further strengthening the case.

The Results

Reveille’s comprehensive intelligence gathering provided the undeniable proof needed to hold violators accountable in court, leading to:

  • A favorable judgment awarding the client significant monetary damages for each employee unlawfully poached.
  • The competitor’s admission of guilt, damaging their reputation and enabling our client to regain lost market share while acquiring the guilty party’s customer base.
  • A legal precedent that strengthened the client’s contracts, ensuring clear penalties for future breaches by both employees and customer accounts.
  • An ongoing partnership—Reveille is now the client’s trusted investigative firm for all hiring, legal, and business development intelligence.

This case reinforced the power of strategic intelligence in protecting business assets, securing justice, and driving long-term success.

Multi-Location Medical Clinics

A national hair restoration company expanded rapidly with effective market research and astute competitor intelligence.

A doctor outlines a new hairline on a male patient's forehead. He is about to get a hair transplant procedure, so they're making his hairline look natural.

The Problem

A national hair restoration company contacted Reveille to strengthen its brand presence in existing markets and drive expansion into new ones. In this highly competitive industry, every decision—from online marketing to clinic locations—can determine success or lead to costly setbacks. One wrong move could stall growth and become a financial burden on the company.

The Project

  • Reveille operatives conducted market viability assessments to analyze new target markets and service areas (including new verticals), providing exclusive insights via competitor research into pricing, patient volume, and service offerings.
  • This assisted the client in formulating its Unique Selling Proposition (USP) and competitive positioning.
  • Reveille collaborated with the client and their real estate brokers to strategically select new clinic locations based on Google searches, competitor proximity, target demographics, and key market factors.
  • To ensure strong brand representation, we conducted consumer research, including mystery shopping exercises, using social engineering tactics to test employee adherence to Company policies and customer service standards.
  • Reveille helped the client identify attractive acquisitions, special situations, and strategic alliance opportunities by identifying established clinics in strategic locations and growth markets.

The Results

At every stage—and continuing for years—Reveille has provided the client with data-backed, actionable intelligence. This intelligence has:

  • Refined their workforce strategy, strengthened market positioning, and improved their competitive advantage.
  • Directly contributed to enhanced, research-based decision-making and company-wide impact on operations, marketing, revenue and profitability.
  • The Company has expressed their recurring satisfaction with the ROI and intangible benefits associated with each assignment.

The next stage of engagement with the Company is to support its diversification into related verticals such as men’s health and medical aesthetics.

Automotive Dealership Groups

One of the nation’s top auto groups got a lesson in counter-intelligence and security.

A photo of three vehicles for sale in the parking lot of an auto dealership. Reveille Advisors delivered critical results for their automotive client.

The Problem

Reveille partnered with one of the nation’s Top 25 auto groups to strengthen its physical and digital security. Despite its nationwide success, the company had unknowingly left itself vulnerable to bad actors and security breaches.

The Project

To assess these vulnerabilities, Reveille operatives conducted covert security testing at multiple client locations. Using social engineering tactics and clandestine intelligence collection, we:

  • Infiltrated facilities and operations, uncovering critical security gaps.
  • Collected internal platform and software data, login credentials, vehicle access codes, and sales volume information.
  • Obtained sensitive details, including the owner’s on-site schedule, exposing high-level executive security risks.
  • Recovered hundreds of compromised company login credentials from past data breaches on the dark web.

The Results

Our findings revealed serious security flaws, emphasizing the need for immediate action to protect the company’s assets, operations, and leadership. Once we completed the operation, we:

  • Created new protocols for employees engaging with potential buyers, test drives, and service customers to limit exposure to sensitive information.
  • Shared physical improvements that could be enacted to safeguard company assets proactively.
  • Provided the executive team and IT department with all breach data and a risk mitigation plan for online privacy and safety.

This case reinforced the importance of proactive intelligence in securing high-value enterprises from digital and physical threats through red team penetration testing.
